Participatory Efforts for Healthy Environment [PEHE] is a non governmental organization registered under The Societies Act 1860. The organization was launched by a group of motivated civil society activists and community development professionals in January 2005.
Since its inception the organization has been active community mobilization, awareness and development endeavors in Badin, Jamshoro, Dadu and Thatta districts of Sindh. The sectors in which the organization has made contributions include: Social Mobilization, Capacity building and Training, Education Environmental Up gradation and Tree Plantation, Water and Sanitation, Live stock development and rearing, Employment Support through Skill development, Emergency respond and rehabilitation Health, Women Empowerment and Child labor.

Ms Helen Clark UNDP Administrator visit to District Dadu
20 February 2011, Ms Helen Clark, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), visited the village Bhago Teewino of District Dadu Taluka Mehar. She visited the houses constructed for the flood affectees of the village accompanied by the minister rehabilitation Mr. Muzaffar Shujra and the complete UNDP team. Ms Helen Clark later met with the beneficiaries of the houses.
