Participatory Efforts for Healthy Environment [PEHE] is a non
governmental organization registered under The Societies Act 1860.
The organization was launched by a group of motivated civil
society activists and community development professionals in
January 2005.
Since its inception the organization has been active community
mobilization, awareness and development endeavors in Badin,
Jamshoro, Dadu and Thatta districts of Sindh. The sectors in which
the organization has made contributions include: Social
Mobilization, Capacity building and Training, Education
Environmental Up gradation and Tree Plantation, Water and
Sanitation, Live stock development and rearing, Employment Support
through Skill development, Emergency respond and rehabilitation
Health, Women Empowerment and Child labor

PEHE has been engaged in implementing and launching various
projects and activities in the community of this district; we
have achieved maximum objectives through various practices in
this district. We have also conduct trainings of the staff of
Health, Education, NGOs, CBOs and community workers time and
again. Through its social mobilization program we have been
mobilizing many stakeholders at the time of need; we have
organized more than 96 community organizations in different
parts of the Jamshoro, Dadu and Badin districts. Since last

Community Health Awareness Program (CHAP)
Health has been a major asset of the people by which
socio-economic conditions are strongly associated. In
rural areas it is far from the satisfactory level. In most
of the areas of KN Shah and Meher Talukas of District Dadu,
people lack basic awareness on the health problems, which
ultimately affects their well being.....More
